17TH ANNUAL CHARITY GOLF TOURNAMENT

We would like to announce the OMNI Financial Charity Foundation’s 17th Annual Charity Golf Tournament!

We are excited to announce this tournament scheduled for Friday, August 23, 2019 at Legacy Ridge in Westminster.

The Omni Financial Charity Foundation (OFCF) is an integral part of the Broomfield community and has continued to be for more than a decade. With support from our community and business associates, OFCF helps to better the lives of thousands of people throughout the State. Over the last 16 years, OFCF has donated more than $500,000 to a wide range of non-profit organizations.

We are excited and honored to partner with Veteran’s Puppy for Life. This organization, located in Denver, Colorado, was founded to provide veterans suffering from PTSD with service dogs and a training program the veteran can be part of. The veterans are provided puppies at 8 weeks old. The goal is to help the veteran focus on their puppy and not on themselves.  In a word does it work?  “Yes”!  The service dog is not a crutch for the veteran as some people might want to believe. The purpose of a psychiatric service dog is to mitigate, or make better, an impending episode. The alerting the service dog provides is telling person, “Hey, something is about to or is happening here and I need to let you know!”  Of course dogs can’t speak, that’s why they are trained to perform certain alerting task.  Allowing their handler to take necessary steps.
